Queering Paradise (WIP) examines worldviews rooted in Edenic dominion, examining the narratives that shape our ecological crises and settler colonial landscapes. By deconstucting nature-culture and human-animal, this project critiques the heteronormative structures that exploit marginalized communities and more-than-human entities. Working from western paradisal representations the project renvisions radical ecologies that embrace fluid identities, foster ecological interdependence, and promote collective care, challenging dominant narratives to reshape our understanding of coexistence in a world in flux.
